List contents persist too long

description

When I close a solution – and even when I start a new solution – the Local History window continues to show the history for the most recently viewed file.

This is a feature others have requested, that the local history be shown for the currently selected file. Maybe I need to create a option to turn this feature on/off?

I agree that it should be shown for the currently selected file, and the window does seem to track that as I move among files in a solution. But when close all editor windows, I think the LH window should reflect that.

Here's an open solution but no open editor windows. I think the LH window should no longer refer to a file that is closed:

Now I close the whole solution, but the LH window still shows the file from the previous solution:

Now I start a brand new solution, and even though I have Form1.cs open, the LH window is still referring to Program.cs from the previous solution:

These are cases in which I think the LH window should not be showing anything.

Thanks for the clarification I had misinterpreted what you meant.

I've fixed cases 1 and 2. I'm not able to reproduce case 3.

Thanks. I suspect that if you fixed #2, you won't see #3, since the LH window won't be showing anything when you open the new project.
